Hi I am a psychology Hons graduate, with a post graduate diploma in cross cultural psychology. I have 4 years of ABA/VB experience and I'm looking to join a home programme. Also have school shadowing experience.

ABA Therapist/Shadow Aide and ABA Therapist

Hi,
We are a Canadian family residing in Kuwait with a 6 year old son who has PDD-NOS. We require an ABA Therapist/Shadow Aide and an ABA Therapist to join our team. Our son's ABA/Verbal Behaviour program is being supervised and training is being provided by a well renowned U.K. Center, C.E.I.E.C.. Our son has been on this program for the last 3 1/2 years and has seen progress.
The ABA Therapist/Shadow Aide will be required to provide 15 hours of shadowing and 25 hours of home-based therapy per week. The ABA Therapist will be required to provide 37 1/2 hours of home-based therapy and 2 1/2 hours of shadowing per week.
The responsibilities of the ABA Therapist/Shadow Aide include shadowing our son at a mainstream school and implementing his IEP and Verbal Behavior therapy, as well as home-based Verbal Behavior therapy including one-on-one therapy to develop his verbal skills, functional skills, play skills, social skills, fine motor skills and gross motor skills. Data recording and attending team meetings are also required.
The responsibilities of the ABA Therapist will be the same as the ABA Therapist/Shadow Aide, except the hours of the home-based therapy and shadowing will be as aforementioned.
This is a wonderful opportunity to travel and help a child at the same time.
The remuneration that will be offered to the right candidate includes a non-taxable basic salary range of US$55,000 to U.S.$65,000 commensurate with qualifications, plus benefits which include airfare, paid vacation, government health insurance and professional development. There is no income tax or sales tax in Kuwait.
