 ABA (VB) tutor available from July 2006

Hi, I'm a third year psychology student who will be graduating in July of this year. I have currently had 9 month's experience working with a gorgeous little four year old autistic girl, who is progressing very well through her ABA programme. Unfortunately, it is likely that I will have to leave this family as I will be moving back to East Anglia.
I am keen to carry on with ABA, as I find it challenging and rewarding, and wish to make a career for myself in this field. I have 9 month's experience as in a home based programme, and have been on a shadowing course so that I can accompany children into school.
If you have a programme starting at around the time that I will be returning to East Anglia, then I will be very glad to hear from you. Anywhere in Essex, Suffolk, and possibly East Cambridgeshire or North Hertfordshire will be considered, though if it was a long way from my home I would be grateful of some subsidy towards my travel expenses.

Re ABA programme

Hi Ruth,
I have a 3 and a half year old boy with I think fairly high functioning autism (who is also gorgeous) and I am looking to start up a home (and possibly nursery shadowing) based ABA based programme with the help of the CARD organisation. I currently have no therapist to help me with this programme so am very interested in you. The timing would be perfect as I am told I should be ready to go in about 6 weeks. We live in Chelmsford, Essex in a place called Sandon - is just off the A12 and very easy to get to. I look forward to hearing from you,

Are you looking for extra therapists for your programme?
I am new to ABA but am well aware of it as my sister in law has been a therapist in kent for the past 10years.
I have over 15 years experience working with children.

I have just got your message regarding an ABA position with you in Colchester. I am still tutoring, but unfortunately I moved to Kent in October. My best piece of advice is to email the local universities, such as Essex (they do a psychology degree, if you email the psychology dept and ask them to pass on the email you will get interested students).
